CITAACCCITFIT …… BEGIN WITH END IN MIND
CITFIT , Wellness and fitness community for CITAACC came into existence mainly to encourage CITAACC members and their family to get into the essential everyday activities which can lead to sustainable benefits in terms of wellness and fitness. Everyone desires to live long life and also have sufficient fitness to carry out routine till end. It does not happen automatically as each and every day is hectic for all with many priorities with compromise on health related habits.
Pillars, in general, hold up a structure. In the case of health pillars, they are the framework that supports and hold up your health. Just like a physical structure, if one of the pillars is weak or damaged, it can cause problems for the whole structure. That’s why it’s vital to focus on all of the health pillars, not just one or two. The key is to pay equal attention to each pillar, as ignoring one could impact your ability to sustain the others The more we balance the four pillars within our lives, the better our chances of feeling good in the long run. Proper Exercise, good mental Attitude, adequate Rest and balanced Nutrition are four important pillars to earn our health.
CITFIT community focus on all these pillars and plan activities and programs to ensure life style changes and formation of habits in the long run. To cultivate the habit of allotting space for physical activities ,aerobic exercises like walking, cycling, swimming and simple work out for muscle strengthening and body flexibility are balanced in weekly schedule with a minimum monthly goal. To add fun to the routines, community exercise , field games , mountaineering and participation in Marathons are planned. Dissemination of knowledge and information on eating right with proper nutrition with balanced plate on each meal , adequate sleep and importance of engaging with wellness community are done . CITFIT is meant for all age group and forever.
